A doctor, Ifeyinwa Angbo, called her husband, Pius Angbo, a Channels Television staff member, for beating her four weeks after giving birth to their fourth child.
The lady also alleged that the TV presenter repeatedly beat her during their six years of marriage.
In a viral video, Ifeyinwa showed her bruised face as she described how her husband allegedly beat her.
She said, “Hello people, my name is Ifeyinwa.
“I am a doctor.)
“I have been married to Pius Angbo from Channels TV for six years and for six years I have not known peace in this marriage.
“It went from one woman to another.
“I just had a baby.
“It was a caesarean just four weeks ago.
“Just because I told her to spend wisely and not on women so recklessly given that we have four kids, that’s why I got that beating.
“He tried to strangle me and all that, sitting on my cue, the kids were crying.
“When I was pregnant with this child, when the pregnancy was three months, it was the same.
“He was sitting on my stomach. hit me, try to strangle me and all that.
Meanwhile, Channels TV responded to the video through its official Twitter account.
The news house said it does not tolerate violence against women, adding that the case is under investigation.
He tweeted: “Channels Television does not condone violence against women or anyone in general.
“The reported domestic violence case against one of our reporters is being investigated and appropriate action will be taken.”
