DC Comics has announced a new series of three-month events involving The CW’s DC superhero shows. The comic book event series will be set entirely within the TV show universe and will be part of the show’s canon, approved by CW TV show producers. Each of the five issues spotlights a different CW/DC superhero show, with the sixth issue serving as a crossover.
All of these comics will be written or co-written by the shows’ creative talents. Each issue will also include bonus material created by cast members of The CW shows, as well as “teasers” that will provide clues as to the nature of the final crossover in issue #6.

PRIME EARTH #1 (The CW’s Batwoman)
Ryan Wilder, aka Batwoman, makes his costume comic debut in a story co-written by series writers Natalie Abrams and Kelley Larson, and series actor Camrus Johnson (Luke Fox/Batwing), starring illustrations by Clayton Henry.
Ever since the technology that created many Batman Rogues hit the streets, Ryan Wilder has struggled trying to contain the new villains that are popping up around Gotham City. But when the mud of Clayface (debuting on The CW) bonds with a local high schooler, Batwoman will need help from an unexpected source to contain this muddy foe! Also follow how Luke Fox reconciles his life as a superhero and a boyfriend!

Superman and Lois series writers Adam Mallinger, Jai Jamison and Andrew Wong join fan-favorite DC artists Tom Grummett and Norm Rapmund in a story highlighting the one-year anniversary of Clark Kent and Lois Lane. Trying to celebrate their marital bliss is never easy when you’re a superhero husband and journalist wife; especially when saving the world and creating impactful stories keep ruining your plans! Plus, the true origins of the evil Superman from the world of John Henry Irons are finally revealed!
Both issues feature covers by Kim Jacinto and will feature photo variant covers based on each individual show. The following issues will spotlight DC Legends of tomorrow, DC star girl and The flash.
