ION Television prepares for ‘Bring the Holidays Home’ with Six


ION’s annual holiday film lineup kicks off its 10th season on November 25 with new premieres and returning favorites after record audiences in 2017

And starting in November, ION Television “Bring the Holidays Home” with the US TV premieres of six holiday movies. After record audiences in 2017, ION will launch its 10th holiday movie season on Sunday, November 25, and release all-new movies and over 25 returning favorites on the weekends through Christmas Day.

Last year’s holiday programming had the highest ratings ever on ION Television, averaging 887,000 in prime time, while still ranking # 2 among movie networks. vacation. ION’s top-rated film, “A Prince for Christmas,” averaged 1.2 million viewers.

“Christmas Cupid’s Arrow” – Sunday, November 25, 9 p.m. / 8 p.m.

Synopsis: Holly, a professor at a small college, always found the wrong person. She’s accomplished quite a bit in her life, but after her younger sister announces she’s pregnant, Holly decides she’s going to make an effort to meet Mr. Right. Meanwhile, David, another teacher, is a single dad, very smart and kind, but not the type Holly notices when the two are tasked with planning the Christmas ceremony. At the insistence of her best friend, Holly signs up on the “Cupid’s Arrow” dating site, where she meets Josh, a lawyer who has just been hired by the school. He’s all she wants on the surface, but doesn’t have much to say beyond his work and his good looks. Josh and David were roommates at college, so Josh enlists David to write poetic posts in an effort to convince Holly. Eventually, Holly notices that Josh’s words don’t match the brilliant, beautifully written texts and emails she’s grown to love.
