Brockton is still buzzing after a film crew came to town last week to film scenes for the Netflix movie “Don’t Look Up” featuring Jennifer Lawrence and Timothée Chalamet, among other luminaries.
But it’s far from the only time the City of Champions and other communities in the region have been turned into makeshift sets for the filming of movies, TV shows and documentaries. Over 30 featured locations in the Brockton area.
“With 351 cities and towns, Massachusetts offers extraordinary places ranging from scenic countryside to ultra-modern, from seaside to mountain, and from all time periods, from the 1600s to the present day and beyond,” wrote the Massachusetts Film Office on its website.
