Network TV shows for 2019-2020: which shows are renewed, canceled and scheduled to premiere this year

Each May, network television executives unveil plans for which new shows will air, which fan favorites are renewed, and which latecomers are thankfully canceled. 2019 is no different, as the heads of the five major broadcast networks – CBS, ABC, NBC, The CW, and Fox – have made their programming decisions for the coming year.

Some returning shows are iconic names in the annals of network television: On CBS, “60 Minutes” begins its 52nd season since its premiere in 1968, while the hit comedy “The Big Bang Theory” ends with a 12th and final season; ABC’s “The Bachelor” Kicks Off Its 24th Reality TV Season; and FOX’s “The Simpsons” will have audiences laughing for a 32nd season.
