Soon Xiaomi Mi TV 4A rival Vu Television set to launch affordable Android TV on March 13

Shortly after the launch of the 55-inch Mi TV 4 in India, Xiaomi unveiled two more affordable smart TVs in the country – the 32-inch Mi TV 4A and the 43-inch at Rs 13,999 and Rs 22,999 respectively. Looks like rival smart TV makers are already gearing up and gearing up to counter Xiaomi’s new Mi TV 4a line. Vu Televisions, a company focused on bringing affordable smart TVs to the Indian market, is now set to launch an Android TV-based TV on March 13.

Vu Televisions will host an event in Bengaluru to launch Android based TV. The company also sent out media invitations for the event along with a slogan that reads: “Ok Google, Let’s Vu”. It seems that by introducing smart TV, Vu Televisions is eager to beat Xiaomi and compete fiercely with the new 32in and 43in Mi TV 4A models.

Vu Televisions, based in Mumbai, has launched several Android-based smart TVs in the past. The company’s next television would be its very first Android TV offering. We can also expect Vu Televisions to rate the upcoming Android TV on par with the Xiaomi Mi TV 4A. This means Vu Televisions’ upcoming Android TV will fall into the affordable smart TV category.

On the price side, the 32-inch Xiaomi Mi TV 4A Mi TV 4A was launched in India at a price of Rs 13,999, while the larger version which comes with a 43-inch screen will cost buyers Rs 22,999. The 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4A versions will be available on Mi.com/in, Mi Home Stores and Flipkart from March 13.
