The best TV shows to watch this holiday season

ITV has unveiled its Christmas and Winter 2021 schedule, and it includes festive editions of some of the channel’s most popular shows.

Kevin Lygo, general manager of media and entertainment at ITV, explained that they have “rich and diverse content, with thanks to those who have worked through thick and thin this year.”

Here are some of the best ITV Christmas and New Year’s shows on offer …

England has an incredible talent

The festive special is expected to feature some of the show’s most successful past acts.

Therefore, Ant and Dec will return to the present.

Likewise, judges David Walliams, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon will also return.

Celebrity Christmas Special Family Fortunes

The family of strict star Shirley Ballas will appear in the celebrity version of Family Fortunes, hosted by Gino D’ACampo.

The dancer will face Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews …

All the more reason to connect!

Gary Barlow’s Night at the Museum

This unique concert takes place at the Natural History Museum in London.

First, Gary will perform a combination of hits and classic songs, accompanied by a live orchestra.

The SM Story: TV Live airs this Christmas on ITV and will see the original hosts Ant and Dec reunited with Cat Deeley.

The trio take a nostalgic look at the groundbreaking Saturday morning children’s show.

Digging through the archives, all of SM: TV’s favorites will be covered – including Challenge Ant, Wonky Donkey, Pokemon Rap, and of course, Chums.

The show will also feature interviews with regular SM: TV guests and famous fans.

Christmas Special Birds of a Feather

The hit comedy Birds of a Feather returns to ITV for an all-new, unique Extended Christmas episode.

It’s been three years since we last saw the Birds, after Tracey reluctantly sold the house they all shared to Dorien.

This time, Tracey and Dorien understood each other well.

Meanwhile, Sharon has fled halfway around the world and is stuck on a Covid cruise …

Cube Celebrity Christmas Special

Phillip Scofield is back with a once-in-a-lifetime Christmas special as a whole new batch of celebrity couples prepare to take on the Mighty Cube.

McFly’s Danny Jones and Dougie Poynter are on the show, as are actress Emily Atack and her mom Kate Robbins.

The two teams then compete for a jackpot of £ 250,000 for the selected charities.

Alan returns with a Christmas special from The Price is Right.

In this festive game show, lucky members of the audience will be called to “the contestant’s row”.

The real full Monty on ice

A new roster of celebrities will perform their routines while doing the Full Monty on ice, in a spectacular winter landscape.

The 2020 class will be led by Ashley Banjo and Coleen Nolan.

Woman’s Hour legend Dame Jenni Murray, actress Linda Lusardi, Love Island’s Shaunghna Phillips, actress Hayley Tamaddon and This Morning’s Dr Zoe are showing up to reveal it all.

While discovering everything for the boys, rugby star Gareth Thomas, actor Jamie Lomas, singer Jake Quickenden, jockey Bob Champion, Perri Kiehly of Diversity and Chris Hughes of Love Island.
