Television set

There was a gay marriage on TV on a musical, and it was really something quite special.

Towards the end, you also don’t care if it’s a musical.

That’s right. musical wedding to celebrate the fact that same sex couples in England and Wales can now get married.

A musical wedding can seem a bit too much.

But believe me … the musical is so much more meaningful and emotional than you initially expected.

The service began with words from Stephen Fry: “Beloved Ones. We are gathered here today to witness something so extraordinary at this time …”

You’ve also heard “it’s more cheerful than joy” and “it’s a motorhome than a chiffon Christmas tree”.

Even Newsreader Jon Snow (not to be confused with THE Game Of Thrones’ Jon Snow) sang about it.

So you can think of it, that’s a whole lot a little laughing and rather unnecessary.

But then they started walking down the aisle.

Although some people were confused.

Oh Lord, I just saw @StephenFry on #OurGayWedding The Musical! I feel so betrayed. After all these years, he never told me he liked musicals.
